i have three machines, all win2k. two are hardwired to the router, one is wireless. all three machines have the same workgroup name. all three show up in the router's ip list under their individual computer names. all three have file sharing enabled in every place i know of. whenever i try to see the other machines in windows explorer, i can see the workgroup, but if i attempt to open it or expand it i get the following error msg:

"workgroupname" is not accessable. The list of servers for this workgroup is not
available.

i am sure i am missing something stupid here, so would some of you mind pointing it out to me?? thanks zz03

Can you access the computers directly by either \\computername or \\computeripaddress in the RUN command window?

ignore network neighborhood, it's crappy on it's best days. Use unc paths, \\server\share to access machines.
