Tried plugging in the power supply into the hard drive and found out one of the pin snapped off and now the hard drive obviously won't power up. What can I do to get the information off the hdd?

If you do not know how to change the pin, I can do it for you.
You need to send the drive .. I can provide the pin and install
for minimal cost .. you pay shipping each way to NJ
PM me if you want to do this. You should have it back within
1 week or so max

SATA HD's usually come with a 4 pin molex connector and a SATA power connector. Why don't you just switch over and use the SATA power connector?
