Broken MacBook charger?

I think there's an internal break in the cord somewhere. I wiggle around for it to charge.

Here's the thing. My personal MBP charger got stolen last year at work (seriously wtf...), so I ended up buying a new one last October. I believe it has a 1 year warranty and so should I be able to exchange it at the Apple store or would I have to mail it in and crap?

This kinda affects whether I can get stuff done for the next few days, so if it's as simple as walking into the Apple Store, this would be nice.
 
I wouldnt use it if it is defective. There are a couple things on this planet you dont want to fuck with and electricity is one of them. Take it to the apple store. If its under warranty they should replace there and then.
