I just got a used Linksys Router as in the title. I plug in the AC and it powers on for like 2 seconds and then shuts off, is it salvagable? What can I do to make it stay on longer, or is it on and I just dont know it? I know you can flash it but I can't access the normal IP that its supposed to be at (192.168.1.1 or something liek that). What can I do guys? Thanks in advance.
 
Could try the guys from openwrt, there's have a channel on freenode (#openwrt), they 'brick' their routers all the time. There are almost always ways to recover them but sometimes you will have to solder onto the board, either to replace a component, or to install a jtag cable.
