Broken link to the "last page" of a thread?

This must've been discussed before, but I could not find any reference (not in this category).

I have been wondering for a while why one has this problem: if a thread has, say, five pages, the link to the "last page" takes me to the page 10 or 11 (which are of course empty) -- very annoyng.

Ok, I see that when you register, this bug dissapears. So is this a way to annoy lurkers?

Does anybody have any ideas? Moderators?

thanks...

I still get that when I am logged in. But I am sure its just one of those things that will be worked out soon enough. :)

I have observed this problem and may have a valid theory on when it happens (not why).

There are n posts in the thread and your profile has x posts per page.

When x is an even multiple of n the last link is created for selection, however, there is no posts to show on the page. ie. the number of posts to show is zero (0) which is the modulus(sp) of n / x
