I am too smart for my own good some times <sigh>.
Several years ago, a friend asked me to fix his daughter's Win2000 system so that it would connect to the other computer on their LAN (so she could use his printer), but not to the Internet. Now she is older and more trustworthy, and he wants me to reverse whatever I did . . . except I don't remember how I accomplished this tremendous feat.
It is not being blocked in the LinkSys router, nor does the Win2000 box have a firewall. I did it with some simple setting in the Registry or something like that, but can't for the life of me remember what it was.
Anybody got any suggestions as to how I might have accomplished this???
