Broken Heatsink Clips

The cheap plastic clips on my arctic cooler 7 pro have worn out, one of the tips has broken off completely. My options at this point are to find another way of mounting it or getting a new heatsink shipped to me asap (I'm in a rush to get my pc working again).

I was wondering if I could just use screws and bolts to attach it, and if so would I need rubber insulating washers? Does anyone know someone whose done it successfully? I'd rather not have to pay for another heatsink, especially if core i7 wont be lga775. Nor do I want to wait for shipping.

Excellent this is the kind of thing I was looking for. To be honest I would of done a homemade job if I had rubber washers but I do not, so I rather hastily just bought a thermalright 120 extreme, and am gonna use the stock heatsink until it arrives (bye bye overclock).
