Broken heatsink bracket.

To make a long story short, the plastic (wonderful quality) heatsink bracket on my board has had one of the little nubs pop clean off, thus leaving my heatsink with no way to really "attach" to my motherboard.

I have my case sitting on it's side right now so that gravity can help me keep the heatsink in contact for the moment being, but this obviously is not practical (I am getting 26 C idle though :D )

Anyone have an idea of where I can get a replacement fast? The board is a socket AM2 Asus M2N-E. I assume Asus would have plenty laying around, however I would think that it would be a quicker and cheaper delivery if I can find some website that can overnight it to me.

Hi, Try friends and local repair shops for a bad MB that has the correct bracket.

Good Luck, Jim
