Broken downloads ... how do I resume on a server that doesn't allow resume ?

I'm currently downloading DeusEx multiplayer patch ... about 35Mb
The server does not allow resume ... I'm only on a 56K modem (however connection is FREE 🙂 ) is there anyway around this?
 
I don't think it is possible. Even with download managers like Gozilla etc... if the server does not support resume then I think you are out of luck..

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
