Anyone try out ACT 1 of this game, yet? I totally miss graphics adventure point/click games.

I backed it when it was first announced on Kickstarter so I have a copy now. I also have a huge backlog of games so I haven't played much of this. I started playing with the girl at first and I'm only at the beginning so I haven't really done/seen much yet.

I will make an attempt to install it today and give my opinion. The review says Act 1 is great but they wish the split characters could communicate like in DOTT.

I know there have been a few episodic graphic adventures since it died off with grim fandango, I have not tried any.

It's definitely good, though a little easy and kind of short at the moment. I suspect both those concerns will be allayed with the addition of Act 2.

The stuff from Telltale is very good. I've got their Monkey Island and Sam and Max series. Sam and Max got better with each season. I really wish that they would pick it up again. I have a big backlog of games myself and have not gotten around to installing Broken Age yet.

Sam and Max: Hit the Road, was one of my favorite point and clicks - second to Monkey Island.

Then I like Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango, and The Dig - tied for 3rd.

I think I tried the first episode of Sam & Max but didn't like it that much and gave up, I'll give it another try.

It was alright.

Only took me 3 hours. Was extremely easy, a bit slow, and lacked a significant amount of content or puzzles. Art, music, and voice acting were good, though.

I thought it was great. Puzzles were logical and not trial-and-error like so many adventure games. Best classic adventure game I've played in a long time.
