Sounds like it'll be right up your alley. BTW I have yet to hear ONE "rump ranger" joke in reference to this movie, that's how much everybody likes it. So yeah, you probably should go see it.

I have to say I'm pretty perplexed about the movie. I'm not really sure what its about. I know it has gay cowboys, but is it about them being persecuted or something or does it tell a different story, and doesn't really make a huge deal about them being gay?

I won't see it until it comes out on DVD, and I doubt I'll rush to see it then, however based on the praise its getting it seems like it should be worth watching.

Brokeback Mountain is easily one of the best films of the year. It's not surprising most people haven't seen it yet since classics like "The Ringer" and "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" have come out.

Gotta love the responses in this thread...no wonder people weep for the future.

Overall, I liked it -- I was never bored and it didn't get too sappy at any point for my tastes. Actually, it could've stood the addition of a little schmaltz...
