Broke this piece off my board where the Asmedia ASM1061 controller is

I was wondering is someone could give me some help. I am trying to identify a part so I can purchase a replacement and fix my motherboard. I have a Biostar Z77XE4, and a little "capacitor looking" part broke off the board that was part of the Asmeida, it is small black and had copper wound around inside.
ASM1061 assembly on the board so now of course the board is useless without it and wont get past the post screen. It has two solder points so it should be easy to replace I just cannot identify the component. I have a couple of photos of the area and what is left of the piece

It is an Inductor , commonly labeled "L" on PCBs. Looks like it's labeled "L3"
It is just a coil of wire , sometimes in a ferrite core to increase the inductance. Some Inductors are used to smooth out current ripples , some are to tune a circuit to produce a specific frequency.
If it were Me , I would try making a coil of wire inside whats left of the ferrite core , solder the two ends and hope for the best. It's not for the newbee or faint of heart to try though , I've been repairing PCBs for 40 years ...
( it might even work soldering a jumper in it's place , but don't hold your breath ) 🙂

Here is a stock photo of the Power Inductor I am not sure but is that 300uH??? it looks like it reads 1-300. Also this is for the Asmedia controller which controls 2 of the 8 Sata Ports one of which my boot drive was on which explains no boot to windows.
