- First time my HD died (probably cuz I slammed the lid too hard after losing in poker)

- Second time, I had the laptop on my lap, but the power plug was pointed at my lap, so it was stabbing me, I guess the force of that after 2 - 3 hrs screwed up the power port and I could never charge my laptop again.

- Third time I was arguing witha few ppl and I slammed my laptop lid closed and walked away. CAme back and my hard drive got fvcked up again. LEarned my lesson. Never slam the lid as the HD is right there.

Today my LCD refuses to turn on... bleh

I <3 my 3 yr warranty from Dell.

You buy kitchen utensils that say "Oven safe to 400F" and throw them in a 500F oven just to check, right?

Umm the LCD dying has nothing to do with whatever I did before... It's been over a year since I sent my laptop in for repairs, and it's been fine until today. I don't know what caused this problem..

Horrible analogy. This applies to every overclocker basically. I don't see what you're saying.

Perhaps slamming the laptop lid down (which houses the LCD) probably has a lot to do with it.

I hate people who break things and then expect the company to fix it...

that was over a year ago, lcds dont break all of a sudden... ive dropped my laptop since then too, and everything has been fine....

So you don't like OCZ then? People OC and fry their RAM and they can get it replaced if their RAM was running within allowed limits. So my VX fries because its been running at 3.5v for 6 months, and I get it replaced. Legit, but you're not happy? Hah.

I don't really care about anyone else, because we're not talking about anyone else, we're talking about your stupidity.

Slamming the LCD multiple times could have caused adverse effects on the overall life of the lcd/laptop.

You've killed the hard drive twice because you can't control your anger, you're obviously clumsy because you've dropped it. It sounds like you just find new ways of breaking it and expecting dell to fix something you obviously damn near purposely damaged yourself.

You = Total warranty abuser who is an asshat.

lol.. dell offers an warrenty (for an additional charge) to fix the laptop, no questions asked. it's called accidental breakage, or something like that.

my dell 6000 came with it free (3yr) as a Dell promo :) havent used it yet, but i can see lots of people "accidently" running their laptops over with a car at 2yrs 9months to get a new laptop.. lol

Exactly, own it up. Never broke a laptop even if I have Complete Care warranty. I handle them carefully, not abuse them. Anger management needed.
