I'm, well, you know. Looking for work that pays more than the couple of minimum-page part time jobs I have now.

I used to do web copywriting, and I'm looking to get employed at that again - I have a couple of agencies I'm doing freelance for, and at some point I'll hit the jackpot with a really wellwritten web sales letter, but until then I'm suffering.

I'm sure we've all wondered if WE could make money selling viagra. I mean, they wouldn't bother with that spam if it didn't work, would they?

Anyone ever do it?

Since you can write well, why not offer a service to check, edit and provide opinions on college essays? Soon the process of applying to colleges will begin, and you can probably cash in on that.

I've done that - one of those part-time jobs. I also do math tutoring, which pays better. Also, piano lessons, custom tailoring. And accounting. Know what pays best? House cleaning. That's depressing.

The bad part about the p/t-temp work is that it eats up time that I need for finding a good full/time gig, and keeping up skills so that I don't look like a complete loser who does nothing but cleaning, tutoring, etc.

I can't WAIT until I have a real, fulltime, decent job again.

So - penis enlargment pills are the way to go? Any recommendations? Experiences?
On second thought, maybe I don't want to know.

First you'd have to move out of the united states, since distributing Viagra in the U.S. to people without a prescription would land you on a fast track to jail.

Are you freaking kidding me? You want to make money selling pills online? First of all, its almost certainly illegal. If you want to make a quick buck, I'll pay you to do my laundry... but please, dont sell pills online.. its only asking for trouble

I'm been mulling over the idea of growing and selling salvia divinorum since it's not illegal yet here in the states.

It will be. Any drug, no matter how safe, that gives you anything remotely approaching a euphoric high will be banned by the morality police here.

It doesn't really give a euphoric high, it's really more of a hullucinogen. Just not in the typical sense. :D They've tried to ban it before with no luck, Oregon put 2 bills up recently that never made it out of the house. I believe there is a city in Missouri where it is illegal to sell to minors, but other than that it is 100% legal for the time being. (although I agree with you about the future course of legislation in the matter) Apparently it is up for review by the DEA at the moment but I've heard no conclusions thus far.

Btw, what jobs have you worked before, and just how broke/desperate are you?

I've got six figures of credit card debt because my youngest had complications from surgery a few years ago and medical stuff is outrageously expensive (yeah, we sued, but it takes forever). He's better but has a long way to go. I'm in the middle of a nasty divorce. I was a musician, producer, music tech engineer etc., then computer tech, programmer and then I got into internet commerce, but I lost my copywriting job a couple years ago and took over running my (ex)husband's business to keep the money and the health insurance coming in. Supposed to be temporary but his business was in lower manhattan and 9-11 really messed them up, so I stayed on to try and keep things going. Then he met someone else . . . Oh, I can't go bankrupt because I still own half of the house, but I haven't gotten any money out of it yet.

So, my most recent biz experience is "office manager" and I don't have a good reference (ex-husband) PLUS he screwed around with the credit cards so my bad credit went from sorta-bad to MONDO-bad - I'm trying to get that straightened out. You try getting a job under those circumstances!!!

Also, my mother became ill and we had to deal with her and all of those problems. I'm glad she's beyond pain now, but I miss her.

Life's gotta get better - what else can go wrong? Don't answer that.

One of the people I'm doing (free) copywriting for has made a LOT of money selling foot-odor powder on the internet. Hmmmm. More legal than viagra?
