So I wake up this morning feeling very rundown, almost flu like symptoms. Not running a fever, but damn I feel weak and have no energy. So i call the Dr. who performed my surgery and he asked me a buch of questions, last one being "How much do you weigh right now?" So I go and step on the scale, and it came up at 297 lbs. I told him this, he said that is your problem. You have not been eating anything have you. I told him I had been eating potato soup, pudding, but only 1 meal a day. He asked me how much, I told him less than a bowl a day, 1 jello pudding cup a day. And I tell him that is all I want because 1.) My throat still feels like some one raked a pine cone up and down it a few times, and 2.) My nose still feels like Mike Tyson nailed me with an iron glove.

So he tells me that I need to get more food down me if I want to speed the healing process. But, I like he fact that I have lost weight, and the pain killers make me feel so...................

Being sick sucks!
Congrats on loosing the weight, I've been hovering between 275-280 for the last 2 or 3 years, I probably should drop some pounds or something.

🙁 You are suppose to be getting better over time. I am sad to hear you are still feeling this way. At least you are comfortably numb😉

the potato soup is homemade by my wife.

Yeah, I am still feeling a little rough, not as bad as I was last week. I wasn't really sick, just had surgery for chronic sinus issues, and sleep apnia.
