Broadxent DSI V.92 PCI modem problems (It took my soundcard)

Ok. So i went out and bought a pci modem (make model listed above) and it said it was installing some sound codecs and drivers... So when its all done, my sound doesnt work anymore. So I go to the hardware manager and see if i can uninstall it and i do. And i restart and it still wont work?! wtf
Anyone know of a way i can get my sound to work. I have an Aureal Vortex 2 AU3380 i think it is
If anyone can help ill greatly aprecciate it! 😀
