broadwell-e vs skylake IPC

Quick question doing some research on this Is there any difference between broadwell-e and skylake terms of IPC? If so how much of a difference is there? Thanks

Skylake is about 5-10% faster per core, depending on the situation.

Here are some benches of two similarly-clocked products (the i7 6800K and the i5 6600) if you want more detail.

BigDaveX is right, Skylake is about 5-10% faster than Broadwell-E, which is about the same increase that Broadwell-E has over Haswell-E.

But, it can be more than 10% in some situations like SIMD and FP performance. Overall though, Broadwell-E's massive L3 cache makes it hard to compare performance to Skylake.
