USB 3.1 G1 or G2? ;)
There is G2 already? Heh. I am fine with G1 as long as it's neatly packed on the back of the board. I could do without 8-12 USB2/3 ports I reckon.

The refresh will most likely be more about M.2 and U.2.
I am fine with U.2. Can't wait to see how crowded the PCB is going to be. These modern storage options take quite a bit of space there.

G1 is just regular USB 3.0 with a new connector. There is third party G2.
I see, it's just exactly like the USB2 > USB3 transition was. Third-party chips are paving the way first. I like the new connector though, lightning style

EDIT: I want the 100w version. Seems a neat idea to be able to charge/power things. Heh.

If the 6900k is $600 USD I can probably live with that and will probably upgrade my entire computer. Waiting till 2017 would not be all that fun (tho with any luck Zen would come out later in 2016 and be another upgrade option).
