Nonetheless, they were talking about this on NPR this morning. Apparently it interferes with ham radios, and they've got first priority and first dibs on the frequencies.

ver bad idea, if I lived in a town where they offered, that, nearly everything in my house would be on UPS's to kill the interference don't jack with the nearly pure 60hrz of power, it's not a good thing on your appliances.

It is actually used for some products that are EVERYWHERE, but no one really knows they exist. A good example is the rempte lights by (Evil) X10. You know, the popup guys :p. In addition, a supprising amount of home appliances have a limited capabiltiy built in. (high end and ultra high end)

Grrrrrrr, can we stop hearing about at and can it just HURRY UP AND FVCKING GET HERE ALREADY!!!!!! Sick of this sh!t. I, as a person stuck with dial-up, have been watching this for some time like a drowning man looking up at the surface. I swear, nothing on the face of the fvcking planet moves slower than new broadband tech :|
