Don't know if a DVD player can read CD-R disks, and if so, can you transfer a movie off the internet to a CD-R to play on a DVD player?

My daughter told me she downloaded "Spiderman", and I would only watch this if I could see it on a TV size screen.

TIA

Yes, No and Maybe

First your DVD needs to be able to play VCD's second, your illegal copywright download of Spiderman needs to be in VCD format, if it's in MPEG you need to convert/burn it to VCD.

Thanks.

I realize that the quality of the movie will likely be very poor, but I'll try it once to see...

I have no clue about our DVD player, but it does play .mp3's, so maybe it is capable.
