Sources say the 21-year-old temptress could be behind the split between Columbus Short and his 8-months-pregnant wife, Brandi.
We told you last week how Spears and backup dancer Short, also 21, have been spending quality time together. Now that the two are being photographed in public, however, a source says the jilted wife may be ready for a baby-mama drama.
"Brandi doesn't know what she's going to do," a pal tells Us Weekly. "If he keeps it up, she's going to get a divorce."
Whatever scorn Brandi may have in store for her, at least Britney won't have to face
Masahiko Shizawa, her alleged stalker, next week. L.A. Superior Court Judge Alan Haber ruled that Spears won't have to appear at a hearing where she's seeking a permanent restraining order against the Japanese businessman.
Shizawa's attorney, Simon Robert Hiller, complains that without Spears coming to court, "it's hard to have a fair hearing when your client is innocent. He's the one being harassed in a sense."
