Britney Spears' conservatorship hits extremely close to home as years prior, my mom had to battle the local county in the state of Maryland for guardianship of my grandmother. State moved in to cover the nursing homes' asses by taking it. Then the stooge psychiatrist manages to "diagnose" my grandmother with depression and prescribe risperdal and Zoloft. Gee, I wonder how the fuck that pro could communicate with someone with a complete language barrier. My mother had proved how loyal to her mother with this ordeal, for the it required considerable funds for a single parent working solely minimum wage jobs, considerable, and the lawyer had to utilize the local Chinese press as well. My aunt(mom's sister) was paid $3000 to travel from Hong Kong. She had to dig in her heels because the state was going all in too, trying to push criminal elder abuse charges, and my mom would not accept a plea deal and took a chance with a jury trial. The 12 acquitted her.
With Spears, I see the same bullshit. A moment of weakness winds up become a free pension fund for all the parties involved. There are millions of irresponsible, hotheaded young adults who wind up with a shitty marriage and maybe a breakdown but are daddy or mommy given guardianship if they didn't have millions of dollars in their estate to exploit?
Unfortunately for Spears, her only advocates are her fans. No soul in her family had the loyalty to her well-being in a way similar to my mother had to my grandmother. The comment of Spears wishing to sue her entire family is entirely rational and reasonable, especially with rate Jamie Lynn Spears' IG live. The little bitch's statement that many years ago, in a private convo with her, Jamie Lynn told Britney to get her own lawyer. Yeah, rat Jamie Lynn conveniently didn't mention that a conservatorship prevents Spears from hiring her own counsel.
In the eyes of the law, Spears might as well be a vegetable. In terms of material comfort, she's a 1%er. But in terms of free agency, she might as well be a slave. Everything has to be approved by the conservators, including if she can even hire an attorney. So if the conservator says no, she cannot dispute that.
The choice of Vegas is clear of the direction of daddy. You don't choose Vegas to grow an artist. You go to Vegas to cash in on what is already built, which is why it was usually a final destination for older artists before Spears started her first residency.
