We're talking about 15 and 16 year old children who have been abused since birth. You monster.

Do you hold the parents responsible for exposing them to islam?
Mainstream media is the correct word here, it's the main reason behind brainwashing both the West & Arabs alike.

No, I don't blame their parents, I'd blame our Islamic clerics worldwide for not having an active and serious role to educate and warn from such group that might lead them to hell, instead of heaven.

Agreed, although they might not have recruiters. The essence of being a teenager is doing stupid stuff - they might well have decided this on their own.
Exactly, those teens were being easily exploited with mistaken proofs from our own religion, I personally understand exactly their feeling and intentions.

One of the main reasons why christianity and islam are so evil. You don't need to threaten children with eternal torture in order to teach them morality, nor false promises of reward, for that matter. They don't need to be lied to constantly, from a young age, about all manner of things. Do you think these young girls would be off to syria if they weren't muslim? Just a coincidence?

You got a point here, and I agree that it's definitely the main reason behind departure of these girls. But as one who attended his school in Islamic country, I can tell you that that subject was mentioned lightly and not in depth during our school years.

In case you were addressing me; no, that is not my objective.

Sometimes people say some really hateful junk, and some of us feel the need to point that out.

Sometimes they are just playing the devil's advocate. So be it.

Other times they are really off the mark and someone needs to call them on it.

Oh and being intolerant of someone's bigotry is not a vice.

I agree with your statement regarding to the media, however I must say that blaming the clerics may be unfair.

Many, many of them vehemently denounce this ugly misinterpretation of Islam, however, they don't get 24/7 world-wide coverage.

They can speak all they want, and say the right things, but if no one hears them, then what?
