british lit or american lit or world lit

I think English Lit. is a bit too much for a summer course; Beowulf, Chaucer, Sir Thomas More, Shakespeare, etc...
I would go with American Lit. :)

i'm taking modern lit right now... which isn't on your list. it covers the writings from the early 1900's to about 1970-1980. we've read rosencrantz & guildenstern are dead, brave new world, the street, the handmaid's tale, and right now we're reading grendel. its pretty interesting, and the teacher is really freaking hot!

Don't think I took world lit...


but i loved both brit lit and american lit. But it was back in high school when i took those...and i lvoed both my english teachers. Sigh...i hate college.
 

I think I lost a gallon or 9 of saliva from drooling on my desk in British lit.

Take any of them that you haven't taken before. If you are an open minded person, all of them should be enjoyable.
