May is facing a tough election & there's been a big kerfuffle in the UK press about this stuff leaking. So she shames & blames the Americans to take the heat off. Then the Trump Admin promptly turns our IC into patsies. It's all an exercise in propaganda.

Nobody knows jack shit about where the leak came from & we likely never will.

It feels more and more like a ruskie game to me. Inciting unrest everywhere is Putins 101 geopolitics for newbs.

I think its pretty clear that there have been efforts inside our intelligence services by malcontents, miscreants and outright criminals to discredit the new administration. But to hamper an ongoing terrorism investigation over some petty effort is just low.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but POTUS is not considered a member of the intelligence services, right? Look, it's much easier to ignore attempts to stretch into strange and confusing conspiracy nonsense, and latch onto the most obvious, most reasonable, and certainly most likely problem: the president is a fucking buffoon that can't be trusted with secrets because it is far more important for him to boast about anything than it is for him to do his actual job.

You do understand, don't you, that this fuckhole really doesn't understand his job, right?

That story is pure politics by the Democrats. Any president can share privately what he thinks is necessary to serve American interests.

Imagine you giving the same kind of levity to Obama. or even Hillary.

LOL--yeah, I also laughed.

The Brits have a stronger revulsion to gratuitous gore than we do. That's what set off the brouhaha in the British media & their ire towards leakers they assume to be part of British intelligence. May deflects blame onto Trump, Trump clubs the FBI with it.

He does seem to have a lot of trouble with the FBI so it serves him to discredit them as much as possible.
