British Flapjacks?

Anyone here had a flapjack (oat/cake like bar) when they went to the UK? Here is a picture of one, but they vary depending on recipes. When I was in Oxford I had a prepackaged one that was wonderful but I don't remember the brand or obviously the ingredients. Anyone have any ideas?

I used to make flapjack when I was younger....

can't remember my recipe though...twas not bad....my nan makes the best flapjack....heres some Google UK recipe links:

Eli, it may seem that way, but it really is different from a granola bar. The one I had was thick, more like cake, soft, and swee but not extremely sweet. I tried that ukstudentlife recipe and it didnt work out too well.
