LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's BAE Systems announced a $3.97 billion takeover of U.S. armored vehicle United Defense Industries on Monday, expanding its lead over European rivals in the U.S. market.

Am i the only one that does not like the idea of non US companies controlling the production of US military equipment?

A european company that thinks it can make a car with more bugs than an american company? Good luck and God speed.

arent all the major defense contractors - US and European - connected to each other in some way (owning pieces of one that another owns that someone else owns a little of)?
