Can you read?

"Starting Monday, the first stage of the graduated plan will increase from six months to one year. Learners have always had to have a licenced driver with them, but the supervisor will have to be at least 25, instead of 19."

The SUPERVISOR with the beginning driver has to be 25.

That's the most misleading title I've ever seen. You make it sound as though they raised the driving age to 25. They just raised the age of licensed drivers who are in the car acting as a teacher to someone learning to drive to 25. It's been like that in California forever.

Starting Monday, the first stage of the graduated plan will increase from six months to one year. Learners have always had to have a licenced driver with them, but the supervisor will have to be at least 25, instead of 19.

Its ok. I can't learn if my mistakes aren't pointed out.

It's 4:53 AM here and I need to go to bed. I work at 11:30 Sunday morning.

Good. I'd like to see it even stricter everywhere. It's still too easy to get a drivers license.

Yeah, its the best. Not many people play it here (Charlotte, NC) since this is a football/baseball area, but it kicks ass. It sure is helping me get in shape. My dad has bad knees too, its a shame.

I actually need a beer too.

Y'alls got it messed up.

16 for learners
You drive for 1 year with a supervisor at all times and then you get tested.

If you pass, you get a Novice permit for at least 2 years which is basically a full license except:
Blood Alcohol level of 0.00 always
No driving between something like 3 am and 6 am (I think) unless you get special permission for work or something
Maximum of 1 non-relative passenger in the car unless you are accompanied by a 25+ year old supervisor.
Gotta hang that stupid N sign in your window.
Harsher penalties for speeding etc (I think depending on the severity, they can actually take your license just for speeding)

You then get re-tested in an hour long road test. If you pass you get your full license.
