Brit needing help picking ISP Tucson arizona

Hi im trying to sort out a decent broadband connection in Tucson Arizona,

Gain Com wireless Broadband
I found this, but i've not really heard anything about this type of wireless connection in the UK. Is there anything i should be wary of, also the installation cost seems high.

If anyone knows a decent ISP for DSL or preferably cable i guess, in the Tucson area then plese help. Its hard trawling through the millions of US websites for this type of thing, and i don't want to get shafted on the internet connection.

What is a normal monthly fee and installation fee, and is the link i gave a bad idea?
 
Comcast or Cox, depending on what side of town you are on. They are both cable companies and have average priceing.

All three have about the same Monthly rate.

Is there any reason why i shouldn't get wireless over the other two?
Ive been told by someone that even thouh it states 1.5mbit that wireless connections are prone to slowdown...

not sure how much he really knows though. Any opinions on this?
