Bristol Palin's Life Is Certainly a 'Tripp'

Bristol Palin has not strayed far from the spotlight since her mother came to prominence in the 2008 presidential campaign. After a fairly successful run on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" and release of her memoir, Bristol Palin has taken the next step and thrust herself into reality-TV land, starring in her own show.

Her half-hour show, "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp," a play on her son's name, will premiere tonight on Lifetime TV for a 10-episode run. Palin, 21, says the show will portray her as a "normal, grounded mom"

Bristol Palin isn't the only political offspring who has tried to extend their 15 minutes of fame. Meghan McCain, daughter of 2008 GOP presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain, and a bit of a wild child, held onto the limelight when she admitted in a Playboy article, "I can't help it. I love sex and I love men."

McCain, 27, is now working as a conservative commenter for MSNBC and has released two books since 2008.

Similarly, Jenna Bush-Hager, 30, daughter of former President George W. Bush, and Chelsea Clinton, 32, daughter of former President Bill Clinton and State Secretary Hillary Clinton, both work as correspondents for the NBC network.

Excerpt from a history book in 2050:

"In the early 2000's, a method of making the most minor of celebrities rich was discovered through the use of a device called a 'reality show.' This involved a camera following around a person to see how they lived their life. If the person is not interesting enough (as was often the case), scripted events were put into play to cause drama and laughter.

The reality show didn't last much past 2020. By 2017, the entire population of the Earth had a camera following them, leading to the "Great Camera Drought" of 2018. Cameras became so expensive it was no longer feasible for reality shows to be made. This is why the only thing left on TV today is 1960's sitcom reruns."

He's a jackass.

If she's going to wander the undisputed douchebag capital of the US with her past and a film crew in tow she needs to put on her big girl pants.

Also the guy did have it wrong...Bristol is the whore. By definition anyone with their own reality series is whoring themselves out to some degree which is only mitigated by the class with which they conduct themselves.

She messed up her face with surgery.

She had a cuteness that was so hot, now she's just meh.

Still a MILF

Makes me wonder if you just sit around all day and read any news with semi-attractive women in it so you can post about it. First Gabrielle Union, now this.

He's the one who needs big girl pants. He was out to make someone feel bad for things that are completely out of her control. Not a sign of maturity, there. Speaking of the class with which he conducted himself...

Finding assholes in a bar isn't exactly like finding pearls in oysters. If she is going to draw that kind of attention to herself she better be able to take the heat without falling apart emotionally, though I wouldn't be exactly shocked if the whole thing was staged anyway.

Debating who has more class in that argument is like arguing which pile of horseshit smells the least bad. Drunk LA trash on one side and a hypocritical fame whore on the other.
