Just happened to stumble upon this performance review with the new Brink game.

I think the results speak for themselves.

The gtx 590 ti is beating up on a 6990. (crossfire seems to be broken)
gtx560 beating the 6950 2gb
Even the old, power hungry,hot ass gtx480 is beating up on the 6970.
gtx460 1gb is woopen the 6850.

if I were to guess ,I would bet the gtx560 non ti would be neck and neck with the 6950.

Uh, as far as I can tell, the 6990 is not in the test:

And the 6950 is killing not only the 560Ti but also the 480:

AMD cards are running the game just fine in DX11 with good framerates, a 5850 is outperforming a GTX 580 in DX11 in this game!

I also made a thread on the nv forums, that grew even larger than the one here. Next major driver release, bam, huge fixes and they even tossed out graphs specifically pointing out the DA2 improvements. So I hope it helped to get some improvement.

You own a 460 as well, and not even multi-gpu.

Guess what. NV SLI is scaling piss poor in Witcher 2, almost non-existent. Perhaps a thread is in order. ()

Happy's thread showing the same case with the players switch sides and were locked with the claim of baiting and trolling. Hey, this is democracy, we say what we think, although most of them are garbages, sometimes there are good meat inside, otherwise the thread will die naturally.

Edit: Unless you meant SLI vs Crossfire, in which case I would lean towards trolling, regardless of if it's red or green team being slammed about it. AFAIK, the Dragon Age 2 performance problem affected single nVidia GPUs too. It hasn't been a secret that multi-gpu setups need a lot more custom tuning and profiling to get results. Maybe make a thread about how nVidia's SLI support is better than AMD's Crossfire support? At least that would be an up front discussion rather than a backhanded slam on specific game titles.

Witcher 2 crossfire support is currently worse than SLI. My minimums are much better with SLI enabled, I tried on/off.
The beta driver is also a improvement from the prior driver, but there is room for improvement. GPU's are not getting fully used.

I'm glad I switched back to Nvidia.

Did you not read what I wrote? His original thread was not the same in tone, manner, and purpose to Groove's thread as he likes to claim. On top of that, his "stellar" history does not help his case one single bit.

There's nothing wrong in reporting that Crossfire was broken, but he did far more than simply just report the issue. And those extraneous words along with his history is the reason I'm assuming it was locked. But he doesn't understand that. He thinks he is absolutely right. And that is why we have this current tirade.
