Brink: $9.99 on Amazon

I recall hearing that the game wasn't very good... is it possibly worth $10?

I played it for a couple of hours when Steam had the free weekend. It felt like it had potential, but I couldn't get into it. Don't know if it was the learning curve, the gameplay or what. I don't think I'd keep playing it for free.

Most people are saying to avoid it. Which makes sense; all of the reviews I've seen point out that it's pretty mediocre. There's probably a reason why it's on sale for so cheap already.

I actually played it during the free weekend, but not enough to have my own opinion on it (so I guess I wasn't really fond of it). I agree with the post above... it definitely had huge potential but it's a pretty big letdown as far as I can see.

Same. Couldn't get into it at all.

Yikes. Not a good sign. I guess neither were the very fast price drops over the past couple of months, free weekend, etc. Too bad cause it seemed like it was gonna kickass when I heard about it last year. And Splash Damage does pretty good stuff. Like Quake Wars was actually quite good.

Brink = one of the most buggy and overhyped games ever released. The game was not even properly tested with ATI cards before release.

Do not support companies that produce crap, and do not buy Brink.
