A common, boring question I'm sure, but...
I'm putting together my first system, using this mobo, and was hoping some might be so kind as to bring me up to speed as to the updates they've employed (bios/driver) and just where (on the web) they routinely monitor for new ones. Any to stay away from?
I was reading on the installation of an IBM hd that the Award Bios 4.5x had difficulty making partions larger than 30-something gigs and that one could use IBM software (driveguide or diskgo) to work around this problem. Has anyone used this software? Has Award since rememdied this problem? (The mobo has yet to arrive) Does Award have its own site?
I'll be using Windows Me....unsure as to what else to tell you...
As you can see, I'm fairly new at this. So any advice you might shoot my way would be that much more appreciated. Thanks!
