Tomorrow i am going to a school field trip to Canada Wonderland in Ontario here. I wanna bring my Digicam along and take some pic during the ride. It has a handstrap on it so i won lose it if i lost grip of the cam. Is this a good idea? Any one tried it before?

I don't think it is a good idea to have it with you because if you lose your grip it is going to bang real hard against the side of whatever you are riding.

Long as you don't drop it or lose it how is it not a bad idea? Just wrap the strap around your wrist a couple times to make sure it doesn't go flying off

LOL! omg one of my friends did that last week, with his Sony... something, on the new ride, Cyclone... it was great, nice aerial shots 50ft in the air. :D

Just hold on tight. I don't recommend anything that has sudden jolts cos you might drop it, and well.. I don't think cameras are meant to be dropped several hundred feet. Shots from extreme skyflier would be kickass tho.

Top Gun would be the best.. NOT Cliffhanger or Shockwave.. lol
Maybe minebuster? Just keep it to something non-sudden, or get some rope. My friend didn't have any, so he held it. :S freaky.

i'm saying these with respect to if you DO NOT have STRING attaching the cam to you. otherwise cliffhanger is fine :)
