If money is no object, see compuwiz1 in the FS/T forum, and buy a TBird at 1.4+

Until the DDR platforms mature a bit, I would suggest a KT133A based board like the Abit KT7A-R or the Asus A7V133 and some good Cas2 ram. If money is no object, go for some Mushkin Rev3 memory.

You people recommending the Asus, can you say why you choose it over the Iwill?

Lately it seems the two previous motherboard leaders are faultering. The design of Asus' latest board is suck, and Abit seems to be just crapping out. Iwill's board is getting good reviews, and offering new features. Asus is also known for not having tech support.

Can you show us something more than blind brand loyalty?

Go with MSI, new bios fixes a lot of problems and now I'm getting great speed out of it!

Well there's that newer Abit KT7A-R rev. 2 to throw to the mix.
Right now, I'd say go with the Asus A7V133.
