Bring on the DP 1.4 monitors! :) 4K@120hz

OK - here is the first gsync monitor that I found with DP 1.3 - 3440x1440 @ 144hz. It is VA - some people prefer IPS and for some reason some prefer VA. http://tech.tgbus.com/201603/20160324214757_14.shtml While that isn't 4K it is a step in the right direction. I'd probably prefer 4K (for work) but I could live with 3440x1440 @ 144hz for gaming. I need a new monitor asap but I want something for the 1080 ti and probably 1180ti a few years from now as I tend to keep my monitors for many many years provided they still work.
