Bring an application window with me when changing spaces

So this has been bugging me for a while now.

I used something similar to spaces when I used Ubuntu a few years ago. One of my favorite features was CTRL+SHIFT+Arrow, which would not only move which space you were on, but it would bring the application you had in the foreground with you.

Is there any way to do this on OS X? I use CTRL+Arrow to move, but I can't find a hot key to bring my application with me 🙁

Press the Spaces activation key, from there, drag whatever you want wherever you want.

Yes. You can hold onto the window while you switch spaces.

You can also set specific settings on a per app basis. i.e., you can set your IM client to follow you around to every space. Check out the spaces (shared with expose ) section in system prefs.

Ah, interesting that you can hold the window.

I'm using a trackpad, so that is a little difficult as well unfortunately. I'll look in settings but I don't think the particular option I'm looking for is there. Oh well.

Still love spaces, best feature EVER.

Im using better touch tool and have the 3 finger swipe set to go left or right between spaces.
I use my thumb to push down on the trackpad and click/hold a window then my index finger, middle finger, and ring finger to "swipe" to the left/right space.

I use it with my trackpad on my MBP and my Hackintosh's bluetooth trackpad

I wish I had the bigger trackpad... I have the older MacBook though.
