anyone know a good site for the Briggs Meyers thing?

I found this site: Text

It told me I'm an INFJ type and these are possible careers.

None of those careers except maybe photographer sounds interesting at all, unless artist can mean author or something like that. Even then, I don't have the skill to do either professionally or as a career.

Does a normal test give you an option for this way, that way, and a little bit of both?
Plus, when I read the questions, I don't know how to honestly answer some of them. I know some of them I can choose how I feel, but I don't always act the way I feel or believe.

So is there a better site or better job suggestions type thing?

weird, i didn't have to enter a password. I can't find the link that i used originally. i found it through google, but can't remember what I searched for.

although I found another site that wants $59.95 for the results. fuck that.

I've taken 2 tests now and got 2 different answers. one was INFJ and the other was INTJ i think.

i'm also an INFJ, which seems fitting since i am going to school to be a teacher, i used to go to art school, and i've been designing webpages and working in photoshop since i was a kid.

ISTJ. scored with almost ZERO in any other categories...VERY definite ISTJ. When I showed my wife the explanation of what it meant after I took it the first time for my voc-rehab counselor, she said, "DUH! I could have told you that. That description fits you perfectly." (explains why I HAVE to make to-do lists when I have things I want to get done, and why, if I do something that's not on the list, I add it then check it off...:p

ISTP - "Engineer". Values freedom of action and following interests and impulses. Independent, concise in speech, master of tools. 5.4% of total population.

I was kinda borderline ENFJ

My results change typically based on my mood but one thing I always am is "I", go introverted me. *crawls back into hole*

From BoomerD's links:

INTP - Thinker

http://www.personalitypage.com/INTP.html

I'd say it was almost entirely accurate, with the exception that I am fairly sensitive to emotions. It's not a natural trait, but I can read the signs and react emotionally, and I do desire successful social relationships very deeply. I don't have any desire to be "popular" but I do need friends and social interactions.

As for temperament, I'm somewhere between the dolphin and the owl.

If you need a computer to tell you what type of person you are and what jobs you are best at then you got some serious issues.

Yeah i know its all just for fun, but there really are some people that actually expect to gain some insight from these things which is kinda silly imo.

I dunno. Some people who don't know what job they want when entering college swear by them. I've been engineering/scientifically minded for as long as I can remember, so I can't really relate. :p

Actually, these tests are NOT just for fun. They are extremely accurate when answered truthfully, and can help to guide a person into choosing a career that would be a good fit for them. It doesn't measure job skills, just helps you decide what kind of job you might enjoy more...

I always, always test as INTJ and the IN is very strong but the TJ are weak and I'd say I'm a mix between the INFP and INTJ depending on who I'm socializing with and the situation.
