Bridging Wired LAN and Wireless LAN

Here's the way I'm trying to setup my network:

DSL-----------Router. . . . . (wireless) . . . . . . Laptop-----------Desktop

Is this possible? If so, how? Can the windows XP connection bridging do the job?

Do not know why such a connection?

But, the laptop need both Wireless and Wired Network Cards.

Desktop needs Wired Card.

Connect the Laptop to the Desktop with crossover cable.

Configure WinXP Pro Bridging in the Laptop.

Yes, this is possible. I've actually done it using Windows 2000 many times for various reasons.
