Hi,

I have an SMC wired/wireless router. Although the wired and wireless clients are both on the same subnet (192.168.2.xxx), wired and wireless can't see (ping) each other. I know some routers have a "bridge wired and wireless" connection option, but I couldn't find any such option on mine... it's nothing fancy, just want to do some simple file/print sharing between my home PCs. Any suggestions? Thanks.

which SMC router? i just bought an SMC wireless router and it doesnt work AT ALL. Its too late to return it, so i have to to the "Return protection" from my credit card b/c SMC wont RMA it because "The wired portion still works."

Needless to say, i will never by an SMC product again...

Don't remember the model number, but I think it's the 7004WVBR or something like that. Did you try updating the firmware...that might help?
