Bridge, repeater, wireless ISP? Dunno?

Alright, here's the situtation. I have 2 routers, (SMC Barricade 7004VWBR and a ZyXEL P-330W) 3 computers and one cable internet connection. I have successfully had all three machines wirelessly connected to the P-330W, but unfortunatly I get frequent disconnects on one of the machines. The user of that machine is an extreme novice and a serious pain in my behind. So in order to relieve the constant nagging and what not I have connected that machine to the SMC router and the cable modem directly. No wireless, no issues. Now on to the more complex side of things. The ZyXEL P-330W has three modes of operation: Gateway, Bridge, and Wireless ISP. So since the location of the SMC router will not cover the distance needed to get to computer 3, I wanted to hook computer 2 to the p-330w directly and let computer 3 hook to it wirelessly, and have it connect to the smc router. Whew, that doesn't seem very clear.

----> = Wired Connection
////// = Wireless Connection

1. Cable modem---->SMC 7004VWBR---->Computer 1
2. SMC 7004VWBR//////ZyXEL P-330W
3. ZyXEL P-330W---->Computer 2
4. Computer 3//////ZyXEL P-330W

Am I making sense yet? Anyway I have successfully managed 1, 2, and 3 with the P-330W in Wireless ISP mode, but I can't seem to get Comp 3 to connect to the P-330W, instead it connects to the SMC, at a very poor connection and no internet.

I would continue to ramble, but I think I will only confuse things more. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am open to pointed questions to clarify things...this is really killin me here....I'm on day 3 of the fight....

This thread helped, but I still cannot manage it
