I have a laptop with a wireless card, and a desktop with just a wired NIC. The laptop is connected to a wireless network, and I have an ethernet cable running from the desktop NIC to the laptop NIC. What I'm trying to do is enable the desktop to have internet access through the laptop's wireless connection.
In "Network Connections" I used to select the LAN and Wireless Connection and "Bridge Connections" in order for the desktop to use the wireless internet connection through the laptop.
That all worked fine for a couple months until now, when I "Bridge Connections" the Intel Wireless software says "No supported wireless adapters in the system" and even if I remove the bridge it still doesn't recognize the wireless adapter. So every time I attempt this now, I have to reinstall the wireless drivers and software.
Anyone know what the problem is or an alternate way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?
I have an Intel 2915 ABG Wireless card in the laptop.
Thanks.
