Possibly. I would have agreed with you until they started winning ballgames again this year. Not only winning, but by substantial amonuts and not by just dishing the ball to LT. He COULD choke - and the Chargers might not make the playoffs, but honestly I don't see that happening.
Where's your proof? Just cause he was good in 'College?' Remember Chris Weinke and Ryan Leaf? They were good in college too. Saying "he's better than Brees" simply becuase of his college career is a mismatch. If he could have ousted Brees a while ago at the start of the season when Drew's job was in jeopardy - the precise reason he was there (well, besides crybaby Eli) and got the starting job right out of the gate, this probably would have been a different story.

Not to mention Staley - who has carried a a 4 yard average everytime he touched the ball for 8 years? Cmon.. Think about that one. THREE games does not a pro runningback make.
