Breaking the 137GB barrier with XP version 1

I seem to be running in circles here. I understand that my older version of Windows XP pro does not support LBA and needs to be updated to SP2. No problem, did that. The BIOS on my motherboard shows that it supports LBA. I even verified in the Registry that the LBA bit is turned on to address drives over 137GB but for some reason XP can't see the unpartitioned space on my 200GB drive. I tried booting with the XP disk to see if the remaining drive space could be seen after the SP2 upgrade but no luck there. Is there a silver bullet here that I am missing? Thanks!

What does it say in diskmanager? Right click My Computer->manage->diskmanager. Do your partitioning and formating there.
