You're a moron. Is this guy any crazier than Timothy McVeigh? No, both are assholes
I dunno, being able to shoot a bunch of little kids, face to face at close range needs a special type of crazy.

Most people using the phrase "assault weapon" (media or otherwise) wouldn't know one if I knocked them in the back of the head with the butt of one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1RvTJBdRuAyeh the 2 pistols they found are sooo "assault"
the rifle was not even used it was in the back of the car still.
he used 2 pistols.
For the people here trying justifying "tighter" gun control due to this and other related shootings:
Great job taking a tragedy and turning it into a political platform. You aren't being original, people have tried before you. Really, STFU and GTFO.
The reality is, shootings like this, however tragic, are statistically insignificant. National gun laws, on the other hand, affect everyone, period. They are outliers and are not a sound basis upon which to base policy. Enacting widespread restriction of rights in response to isolated events is unthinkably naive and ignores the source of the problem.
Think about what you are saying: due to tragic shootings, which directly affects a negligible portion of the population, gun laws, which affect a great portion of the population, should be made so restrictive such that even the least responsible gun owner in the nation cannot commit gun crimes. Think of an analogue in education: the curriculum should be watered down and slowed so much that the slowest student can "succeed", at the cost of everyone else's benefit.
At this rate, we should probably ban turkey frying due to the number of people killed attempting it.
Please save that shit for some other day.
That's what I mean. How do you kill that many people with 2 pistols?
...but right now gun control laws just punish the law abiding...
Wow! What a nice comment.
I guess I should've explained myself. I was originally thinking it was an assault rifle. To me that would be alot less personal interaction than using two pistols. Having to go from victim to victim with a pistol is more disturbing I think.
Teachers take the job to teach not to be armed guards.
If you want armed guards employ them.

Don't have a point really since I don't live in your country.and your point is? yes Beretta makes a FA handgun as well.
but they are tightly controlled and these were not them..
They are normal run of the mill buy at any sporting goods store Sig and Glock..
I'm not saying that they would be forced to be armed. if they wanted to, they could, otherwise they could have armed guards on site. I've already mentioned this earlier.
So are you not from Trinidad?Don't have a point really since I don't live in your country.
I'll just say this. Where I'm from to have a gun you need to have a permit. Yes, criminals have guns, my cousin is currently recuperating from multiple gunshots wounds at home. We have never had a mass killing like what has been occurring in America

Too many liability issues.
Is the school responsible for training them?
If a teacher chooses not to carry and another shooting happens will they get sued?
If a teacher chooses to carry but chooses not to shoot will they get sued?
If they hit a kid when they shoot will they get sued?
I do live in Trinidad. That was four separate incidents by different people killing seven individuals. So are you not from Trinidad?
