If an enemy wanted to do us harm, right now would be a good time with the Democrats openly fighting to make the executive branch as unstable as possible, and Nancy Pelosi needs to stop trying to be Queen of America. She is the last person to talk about competency of a high ranking official because she is the #3 person and somehow was tricked by a hairdresser.
Yes. The Democrats need to pretend that the President isnt a pudding brained imbecilic child with anger issues,. They need to pretend that all the problems are down to Antifa, that'll put the enemy in its place!

I was under the impression that the POTUS could order a launch in retaliation to a WMD attack, but the two man rule applied to first strike?

I don't think so I believe there is a two or three man role no matter what, however I am not an expert on the subject.

Not exactly. The president is the sole decider. Technically it goes through other people, but the only choice they have is obey the order or not.
No one can stop President Trump from using nuclear weapons. That’s by design. - The Washington Post

There is a fascinating Radio Lab episode about an Air Force officer who essentially asked this question and ruined his career.
Nukes | Radiolab | WNYC Studios

There was a bill proposed to restrict first strike use of nuclear weapons, but it never came to a vote:
Restricting First Use of Nuclear Weapons Act of 2019 (2019; 116th Congress S. 200) - GovTrack.us

Well thats just dandy, lets make public statements about this without reassuring us that "I confirmed with him and we changed the codes" or some shit.

It's not like Trump can read/see this and become unhinged from it.
How do you tie your shoes, or are you so stupid they have given you special shoes so you don't have to spend 2 hours every day putting your shoes on.

Yeah, this is where we're at now...

"This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike," Pelosi wrote. "The situation of this unhinged President could not be more dangerous, and we must do everything that we can to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy."

That would include protecting the fucking world from this derange lunatic. Human life is meaningless to him, and killing millions has probably crossed his fucked up mind.

Yeah, it's the Democrats' fault that the Republicans elected an incompetent and unstable President. And it's so totally that the Democrats' fault that the Republicans have swung so far to the extreme right that they no longer believe in Reagan's 'nothing less than a miracle' peaceful transition of power.
Well if they wouldn't have been so mean by pointing out actual facts of reality! Meanies!
