Hopefully no one is hurt and there's no Spill from this one. All those Corps involved in the first one better not be in this one too, cause they'll really be under the gun this time.
Yea news so far says no one was killed, I hope that is the case.
I guess those republcans that got mad at Obama saying how oil rigs are safe and regulated enough as we need to put people back to work are probable not going in front of the cameras today.
Now Obama will, his words will be...
Obama: see bitchs, i was right.
They struck Lee down, now he has become more powerful than we could ever have imagined....
On a serious note, hope no one was hurt. I saw on the RSS feed on my Droid that the helos were about an hour away.
The Department of Homeland Security said the platform was in about 2,500 feet of water and owned by Mariner Energy of Houston. DHS said it was not producing oil and gas.
Anyone have an idea what the rig was doing?
A whole lot of coincidence here to push Obama's agenda. We need to have an independent agency look into this one to see if it was underwater divers or munitions that caused it. Once is an accident, twice is coincidence, third is enemy action.
Right about what exactly?Yea news so far says no one was killed, I hope that is the case.

OSHA's job is to regularly inspect these rigs as part of routine department operations...something they should have been doing well before the BP explosion. They've had 6 months of moratorium to focus on reinspecting the rigs...are you saying that wasn't enough time?

Do we really need a moratorium to inspect these rigs? I haven't seen an OSHA report on their reinspection progress....something they obviously failed to competently do in the first place. Just how long does it take to inspect 33 deepwater drilling rigs? It's been more than 4 months since the BP explosion. No they did not. It was well less then 6 months before a court suspended it. The BP one happened less then 6 months ago.
