Wow! You have better sources than CNN. I read the article in the original post and it mentioned a hotel that was popular with Israelis. The article also didn't mention the exact cause of the explosions or who might be responsible.
How can you tell an Israeli from a Palestinian?
You cannot tell if one is Muslim or Jew simply by looking at them unless they are dressed in their religious outfits and have the beards growing or whatever it is they are doing.
