Thank goodness these cases have so far been treatable and not very damaging. To put things in context the acts on Sept. 11 hit below the belt but these isolated outbreaks are mere pinpricks. The media are certainly milking the stories for all their "worth" but the damage effect is very small. I'm glad for that.

There is no proof at all that these are linked to bin Laden. Heck, with the way the right wing wackos go off about the "liberal media", this could be home grown for all we know. The letter from Malaysia is adifferent, that's probably foreign in origin.

In some ways, I hope this is bin Laden. If all he can do with the anthrax is mail it then we're in better shape than what many have been worried about.

part of a strategic campaign... and not by some "wacko" working in a shed
somewhere.

The strain of Anthrax we shared with Iraq's scientists years ago was the so called Iowa strain.
The strain they have apparently shared with us lately via mail, is the looks like it is the Iowa strain.

Bush eluded to the Iraq coinnection a few daysa go,when he called for resumption of inspection teams. I hope Saddam rejects that. Then we can go and bomb the hell out of Iraq for supporting terrorism and supporting Osama and Al Qaeda. You know Bush wants to finish Saddam off where his Dad left off.

personnaly I think if we had eliminated Saddam when we had the chance, the WTC would still be standing. terrorists got bold because we didn't follow through with the appropriate response to Iraq wanting Saudia Arabia,kuwait,and Isreal. Its a thought.

How do you "Know" the anthrax was created by terrorists? Were you there when they made and delivered it? Im not saying that it isn't one of the posibilities, but simply that we cant be 100% certain. And also the scale of these incidents is so small. Maybe it is the terrorists, but now that media attention is turned drasticly to following the anthrax they can maybe slip something else by us.

We had Arab states in the Coalition during the Gulf war. The Arabs didn't want, for selfish reasons, Saddum to be taken down.

We have (and will have more) of these same issues with this war. So far it looks like everyone understands what needs to be done one and for all this time.
