BREAKING NEWS: Grand Jury Indicts Michael Jackson

That's NOT breaking news. Did anyone actually think that Jackson would NOT get indicted? This is simply standard procedure on the way to his trial.

"A grand jury indictment would supersede the current criminal case and eliminate the need for a preliminary hearing to determine if there is enough evidence to put Jackson on trial."

His million dollar attorneys were doing everything they could to prevent this trial from ever happening. They lose.

Again, my question: did anyone think that Jackson would somehow escape indictment? The government doesn't like to look feeble, and this is no different. This is a high-profile case, and it was extremely unlikely from the start that MJ would be let off easy. Such an occurrence would make the government look EXTREMELY weak.

There is nothing his attorneys could have done about this. The grand jury is sealed, and neither the defendant nor his attorneys are present.

good. these big stars (jason williams, rkelly, MJ, KB...maybe KB) need to get it thru their head that they arent above the law

The propaganda is strong is this one...

First, replace the name "Kobe Bryant" (or any other "star") with some Joe Blow and you'd be screaming for that rapist to have his balls cut off. As for her money-grubbing, has she sued? Not yet, it appears. Did she seek publicity? No, it was Kobe's defense who released her personal information to the public, against her will and violating victims-rights laws.

Second, in both Colorado and California, the laws regarding rape pretty much say that rape occurs anytime the female says it does. End of story. Don't pull out the second she asks you to and it's rape.

Kobe should have followed my life motto, which is "Be careful who you fsck". He didn't. He loses. As the world's most unashamed Laker-hater, I'm cheering his whole way down.
